I've heard rumors that Coco Crisp may be a piece in any trade that the Red Sox make for starting pitching today. Do you really think they will let him go ???? I know he's not having the best offensive year, but this guy is amazing!!! He's sure to warm up. What do you think ??? Man, I'm worried cuzz I'm wearing my brown Coco shirt right now

The Red Sox have to get another SP before the deadline. The Yankees getting Abreu and Lidle has put pressure on the Sox. Remember the Yankees got those 2 for practically nothing. The Red Sox will have to give up someone like Crisp in order to get what they need.

Hard to say who's going. I do know that Epstein is pretty certain of doing something after what the Yankees did yesterday. I heard that Wily Mo Pena was a possible trade but it looks like Nixon hyper-extended his elbow yesterday and now they need Mo Pena in the line-up (if Nixon is out for awhile).
The Red Sox are going to have to do something if they want to stay in the playoff hunt, they could use another SP but they also need a good hitter.

Hmmmm.....things get curiouser and curiouser.

I heard about him in talks for Andruw Jones, If it's Jones, then get a new shirt.

ATL will be asking for all sorts of Sox pitching prospects in any deal for Jones or Smoltz. Epstein is very hesitant to trade any.

Schuerholtz isn't as dumb as the Phillies GM, and won't accept a bunch of crap like the Phils got from the Yankees.

There was a deal pulled from the table that had Crisp, Lester, and Hansen going to ATL for A. Jones - Sox said NO.

Lugo and Linebrink are a possibility for Lowell and no-name prospects.

Yes. They are including Coco, Nixon, Veritek, and Schilling in a trade to Tampa for the rest of the team.

There are all kinds of rumors going on at the moment. Wait for the smoke to clear after 4 pm eastern time. Then see where his bat lands

He is okay, not a real all-star. With a player like Coco, when his stock is up you need to trade him...and besides if you really like him he will probably play better on a different team...for example Edgar Renteria.

They already tried to trade him, and it didn't work. That was like 2 days ago I think. He's not having a good year at all. He's fast, but not a great hitter.

If the Jones Rumors are true it will likely be Crisp, Lester and one more for Jones and someone like Reitsma.
