Home printers are a farce. When you buy a printer you are getting the printer for nothing and paying for the ink. You might try to set the printer to draft. It will save ink. Your other option is to have a print shop do it for you. Its far cheaper in the longrun

The normal ink jet cartridge prints about 300 to 350 pages. If you have a jumbo cartridge, you might get 500 or so pages.

BE AWARE that whatever page count a company states a printer\printer cartridge gives is rated by a page being DOUBLE SPACED!
