I do not quite get this question. The book that chronicles the history of the von Trapps was written by Maria von Trapp herself. Julie Andrews was only the star of the Screen version. Maria von Trapp sold her copy rights for the stage and screen version for peanuts. The family does not get any royalties........Maria von Trapp never met Dame Julie Andrews or Mary Anderson who originally starred on stage.
There are just a few books by Maria von Trapp: The von Trapp Family Singers is where "the Sound" was adapted from.
