I signed up for a trial subscription to PC Magazine, realizing that once this expired I would automatically be subscribed at the full rate with an option to cancel.

This was a long time ago, and now I see the charge on my credit card and I would like to cancel (price is full retail). Usually offers like this have an 800 number listed with the credit card charge, but this one only has the letters TWX*XR411H*PC MAGAZINE.

Does anyone know a number I can call and get a refund on my unmailed issues?

Thanks.

Ok, I went directly to PC Magazine as suggested here and here is their response:

"PC MAGAZINE appreciates your inquiry and welcomes the opportunity to serve your needs.

We are sorry, but we are unable to cancel an order that was placed through a subscription agency.

Please contact LOW TRM/PRICE to cancel your subscription. We have suspended delivery pending confirmation from them."

I have no idea who LOW TRM/PRICE is or how to contact them. I don't want to stop payment throught the credit card and cause alot of hassle there.

Appreciate any other suggestions. Thanks.

Try contacting their customer service.

I tried their web site and they have no customer service numbers...I would write Cancel on the bill, write to your credit card company (you have 60 days per the Fair Credit Billing Act) to dispute the charge if it was billed. If you read the information from your credit card company it will tell you to write to them to dispute the charge. The statement will tell you what information you need to include in your dispute letter. Make a copy of the bill before you send it back. And keep records of everything.

Go to the bank or call your credit card company to put a stop payment to this magazine. I am pretty sure you'll get their attention that way and might get a phone callf rom them, and then you can give them a piece of your mind :) Cheers!

Check, on the magazine if there's a number, or website, you can write,or call.......If that doesn't work, then, I'd write a letter to send with your next payment.....Please do not send anymore, magazines, and you definately want to cancel, your subscription, as of such & such date......Sign it with your phone number, and date, on it..... And get a copy, of it , what you wrote, if you feel its necessary......Good-Luck, to you !!!

Just write "CANCEL" on the bill and send it back asap.
