We all need food, shelter and so much more.

Terrorists will be the death of all of us.

If I knew my neighbors were terrorist I would do everything
possible to stop them.

Is this because I am an American?

Do Americans think differently about the actions of others?

Best Wishes and Good Fortune.

Some civillizations support terror because they share the same ideology. For example SOME muslim countries want Israel destroyed, but they either don't have the resources, or they don't want the headache of dealing with it themselves.

In other circumstances, it becomes socially popular to hate a certain group of people, so the government plays along, and even supports it in order to stay in power. This is similar to how Hitler became so powerful.

There is also an attitude that as long as the bad guys are attacking someone else, I'm safe. So, they fuel the hatred and arm the terrorists.

Thats like trying to fight a ghost... You dont know whos a terrorist. How shocked would you be if I told you 9-11 was an inside job- that the White House pukes killed their own people just to start a war in the middle east.... Investigate it. Look at the Pentagon if a huge airliner like they said hit the Pentagon actually hit it, there would be a much larger hole. Just type Investigate 9-11 into your search engine and see what you come up with. This isn't america anymore, this is the New World Order

The first terribly important definition needed to answer your question is: Who or what is terrorism? In my view, anyone or any country that takes violent action in order to take advantage of or abuse someone else or other country, is terrorist or the action is terrorism. However, before calling some party terrorist we should analyze the real reasons for which they are doing what they do: attack or defend. The reason of invading Iraq and Afghanistan could simply be for becoming owner of oil or the way to transport it. Different countries have their own ways of life and it does not need to be changed to the ones the invaders are accustomed to. So let's not call these invasions / intervention / attack for democracy. Who backed the Shah of Iran, a cruel tyrant? The same world powers cannot be classified as creators of democracy for instigating another war in another country.

You're right. It's time to put a stop to terrorism - and that has to start at the TOP. The leaders of nations who condone terrorism and war MUST be stopped, including those who lead countries like Lebanon, Israel, Iraq, and the United States.

I can't speak for other national leaders' beliefs, but George Bush claims to be a born-again Christian. If he's ever bothered to read his Christian Bible, he'll find a commandment that says, "THOU SHALT NOT KILL".

There's NO DISCLAIMER that says, 'Thou shalt not kill unless you're a Commander-In-Chief who has a personal vendetta against Saddam Hussein, and whose boss, Dick Cheney, wants all of Iraq's OIL.'

The ONLY way to eliminate killing is to eliminate the killers....
and that must start with the people at the very top that give the orders. It's time for Lebanese, Israeli, Iraqi and American soldiers to lay down their arms and defy the orders from their commanders.

Thomas Jefferson once said: "The tree of Liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. That time is way overdue. -RKO-

Because almost all 'civilized earth citizens' would rather be fat, dumb and happy than take a moral stand on anything.

And don't even get me started on the apologists for the terrorists....
