Which company is better and offers more for the seller? I heard that ERA will but your house if it doesn't sale/ Does anyone know how that works? I am going to call them but I wanted to know if anyone has had success with either.

Sorry I meant to say that I had heard ERA will "buy" not "but" your home if it doesn't sale. Does anyone know about this?

ERa has more of a gimmick and remax more of a name, ut it really boils down to the agent you hire NOT the company. I have worked at remax and have know some of the best realtors out there and also some of the worst.

Go with a smaller independant comapny in your area - they will work much harder and provide better service.

I have used ERA in the past to sell one of my homes and I have worked with Re/Max agents providing home loans to their clients.

Both are great companies, but Re/Max seems to have the better name recognition. I also get the impression that Re/Max is more professional and does more advertising.

A lot of time though it has more to do with the actual agent that you work with than the company they work for.

Find an Agent that is a hard worker and who advertises a lot so that your property will get more action.

Good luck,

I don't know about ERA but as far as Re Max goes, having worked there before myself, it is always nice to go with a company that is well known and the public is not weary of. That is my opinion. I would use Re Max.

We used ERA when we bought our house, and when the time comes to sell we will call them back. I have never seen agents work so hard. We were out of state, and they helped us a lot.

ERA *will* buy your house if it doesn't sell while listed with their company, but it will be BELOW market value. it's "too good to be true".

often times, franchise companies are not any better than local agencies!

consider THAT when listing yoru home for sale!

Interesting query. To let you know the reality, I particularly do not pay awareness to these---the one reviews having to do with Heaven and Hell that I pay awareness to are those via the Saints-----on the grounds that those individuals have been certainly very holy, adored God immensely and served Him to the maximum in their expertise (to not point out those reviews did not most likely come to them once they have been close loss of life or supposedly died).
