I'm off there for 2weeks in Sept, looking for the inside info on the nicest place to visit. As well as where to eat and drink. :-)

Ive been there,its lovely as is all of turkey,there isnt a beach at hisaronu because its in the mountains but a short bus ride away is Olu Deniz which has the best beach in turkey,its the beach on all the brochures with turquoise water.A short bus ride the other way and your in Fetiye which is a big port with loads of bargains,you must visit the market which is there once a week for designer rip offs ..also very cheap.Im not too sure about the restaurants as they are always changing hands but if you ask people who were there before you you'll soon find out which are the best.Have a great time ,im sure you will,we will be there the same time as you but in Altinkum on our 8th visit to Turkey,cant wait ,its fantastic !!

We go there all the time, have a look at www.hisaronuholidays.com it has reviews on loads of restaurants and bars, shops and tours and also apartment rentals and hotels. Our apartment is listed on there - just in case you need a place to stay! (cheeky, I know)
Our personal faves are Mamma Mias (Italian), English Rose (English) and The Shine (Indian) Also Castellos on the main street (Italian and some turkish recipes).
If you get a chance go to KayKoy there is a BBQ restaurant where you get to BBQ your food yourself and sit outside on these huge wooden platforms covered in loads of huge cushions and rug - real turkish style - fantastic!
Bars- The best one for family entertainment has got to be Heads or Tails bar. The staff really make the night - very cheap also. They have a review on the Hisaronu site with pictures of their shenanigans.

I've been to Turkey and people are just so great. I do not know the place you are mentionning because I don't think It was there along the Mediterranean and Aegan sea to Izmir, Istambul, Alanya, Antalya and way up in the mountains EFÃS ... Beautiful country.
