Below, I listed two websites that you can visit.

I live about an hour away from Orlando. I can tell you that there are some really nice areas, and plenty to do...but there is also a lot of poverty there, and a VERY high crime rate...especially violent crime.

You can go to the website of the local news to see what's going on every day, here:

Depending on where exactly you are talking about depends on the crime/cleanliness/people, just like any other place I'm sure. If you are a little more specific on the area that you want I can help you out more.

As for boohoo, out of all the places that you listed I would love to move to Windermere, if I had the money. It is a gorgeous place, and very homey feeling. Just beware to do the speed limit because it is a huge speed trap. As for Clermont, I can't wait until my lease is up so I can leave this dump and never look back. I have lived in FL my whole life and never seen so much uncalled for construction, or rude people. If you aren't Spanish you won't get anywhere. I used to live down the road from Windermere and currently living in Clermont now. Good Luck in your search!

check Orlando's chamber of commerce website -- also realtors often have this type of info.

Blah...live in the outskirts of Orlando, if you can. I'd recommend Clermont or Groveland.
Crime is moderate to bad, depending on the section of town you are in. I'd choose a place near College Park or Winter Park. It's much cleaner there.
There are tons of tourists here. Traffic is rotten. For heaven's sakes, don't go on I-4 or the East-West Expressway during rush hour. Rush hour usually lasts from 8am til 8pm.
I plan on moving.

We are thinking about moving there soon. What we have heard that you should not live in East Orlando. We are looking in the Windermere, Celebration, Winter Garden and Clermont area.
