Who cares how many pairs of shoes they have as long as they love wearing them for you...Its cool to me.

hahahaah that is a good question see i use to say the same thing and now I have a ton!!!! 4 white 4 black 3 brown and that is just summer ones then there are the winter looks it's endless!
It truly comes down to style and looks to go with different outfits formal informal warm weather to summer and sport shoes!
Guys are less complex! Well there are a few types that might be more fashion Savoy!!

I don't have as many pairs of shoes as the average female. My job includes climbing ladders and lifting boxes daily, so I don't really have any use for heels for obvious reasons. I do own a couple of pairs of heels for whenever I might need them (weddings, parties, etc etc), but for the most part my shoe collection consists of flats and sneakers, both of which can be just as stylish as heels in my opinion.

Sort of like men and golf clubs, or baseball cards, or electronics equipment. They amuse us, make us happy, and are fun.
Also, there are more kinds of different clothes for women to wear, so we need more kinds of shoes to go with them.
And, we actually try to match our clothes and shoes. Just black and brown won't work for us. If you do that and you're female, people think you are odd.

It's not that we think we need them, it's just that they're so fun to buy! Women's shoes come in so many different varieties, each one more painful and hard to walk in then the next. What a great way to waste ones money; painful footwear.

You might as well ask, what is it with men and sports? Boys and video games? Girls and stuffed animals? Nerds and books? Cats and yarn?
It's just a part of our nature. Not all women are "addicted" to shoes, of course. But, just as cats find yarn appealing because of their hunting instinct, women find shoes (or jewelry or makeup or what have you) appealing because of our gathering instinct.

i dont think i need so many shoes. but i'm guess that the ones that think they need a lot of shoes is becuase they have a varity of style and with a variety of style you need a varity of shos. adding up to them buying a lot of shoes.
