With 3 young ones, you are going to have clutter no remember what. I do trust Joe which you will use a hand, nevertheless. start up with the aid of decluttering. %. away the flaws that are too small on your toddlers. this isn't any longer likely a large merchandise nicely suited now with the three month old, yet which will substitute. Do a similar with the toys your toddlers do no longer play with. Throw out the broken stuff: you have no longer have been given time to repair it. Get cabinets and totes to assist manage what's left. Make a habit of washing the dishes nicely suited once you're completed eating: That way the nutrition won't no longer situation-free-dry and grow to be a discomfort to get off. Get a laundry sorter. this is like a laundry bog down, different than that it has 3 partitions so which you will type your laundry earlier you wash with the aid of throwing it into its assigned basket. in case you could, get somebody to babysit your toddlers for an afternoon, then get a sturdy pal or 2 to come again over and assist you scrub and manage your place. this is a lot much less stressful to place issues decrease back the place they belong that way than to objective to discover a sparkling spot between a gaggle of mess. sturdy success!

Because you are NOT enjoying your work. When you enjoy outside varied activity your mind does not subconsiously keep track of time. In an office doing a boring or repetative job your mind has time to think about how long it has taken and how long you have to go before you can ESCAPE!!! Think about when you are in a cinema distracted by a great movie..you hardly notice the time...but put yourself in a boring Church sermon or lecture at college and you can feel every bump in that chair or bench hear every second tick by........Thing to do is occupy your mind at work with something else while you work...like what I hear you ask? Like iSketch hidden under you Word document or play some other online game that can keep you happily distracted away from watching the clock!!!

Here's why...
Work is NOT a place you want to be...therefore, you are constantly looking at your watch or a clock...or anticipating the end of your shift, and this makes the time seem slower.

On the other hand, once you leave your job and you are on "your own time", that time moves much quicker because you are trying to utilize as much of that time to do "fun" things for yourself and you end up with not enough available time to do those things...hence, the time seems to go by much more rapidly.

There seems to be a subjective relation to time. Think how long it can be when you are waiting to get back results from a doctor's visit. Yet how quickly it can go if you are with someone you really like. I think situations that appear to give us freedom make time appear differently than those that appear as work or restriction.

Maybe because you don't like your job or you are not really busy at work, by keeping your self busy and not thinking about the time, maybe it will be easier to get thought the day.
And when you finish your work time goes faster because you are doing something that you enjoy and you are keeping your self busy with your daily things.
Keeping your self busy at work look good for promotions to :)

It's all relative. The only way to make time go quickly at work is to have a job that you really love doing, that way you are just as happy at work as when you're away from it. Easier said than done though, I know.

Yes, to the first answer. Time flies when you are occupied and interested in your occupation; and time drags when you are just waiting for something to happen / end. Get a job you really enjoy, then time will fly both ways...

I agree with you i used to feel the same way .. and once your off work time would fly and you feel like your able to breath! HOWEVER, i've been feeling way better now its so weird i actually look forward to working now! i know its nuts but i started to really love my work after like 2 years! i have always like my job but now i love it more.. how? i have no idea! i just know i love computers! my suggestion is to try to get into your work you'll learn to like it enough to stop looking at the watch! on your breaks be outside get some fresh air and relax. talk on the phone or just relax. good luck!

Quite simple.. your not enjoying your work as much as the time away from it, thus looking at your watch, or clock constantly making yourself aware of the time... on the other hand enjoying yourself and your time keeps you from looking at the time and it seems to fly by due to preoccupation :)
