Limit foreplay as much as possible.
Failing that, buy some condoms to "enhance her pleasure" or use some of that cream that dulls his sensation.
One other trick is, about 10 seconds before he was about to "finish," firmly but gently take the head between your thumb and index finger and stop the process for about 30 seconds.

Does the train get to the station ahead of schedule? or does it "run out of steam" before it gets to the station?
For the ahead of schedule guy. Make a quick stop just prior to the main event. This will help reduce the overload of steam.
For the "low steam pressure". You might have to stop and "restoke the fire". This could require some sort of an oral fix or whatever he needs to continue the trip.
Viagra, cialis etc can help in the second situation. If it's really an issue then professonal help is required.
Good luck

Simply plug earphone in his ears, with his favorite music playing & ask him to strictly concentrate on the music, see the results. The control button is in the mind. Ever thought how the pornstar manage, I read in an interview some are planning there vacation while doing it, other are thinking where to go for shopping. The mental control is more effective than anytype of physical suppression.

With your thumb, apply gentle yet firm pressure to the penis, under the rim of the head, on the back of the penis (you can feel the "tube" inside the penis running down the back, place your thumb at the top, just under the head and press) Hold pressure for about ten seconds. Hope this helps.

Frequency. If a man has sex every 10 days, he won't last as long. If he has sex every day or so, then he'll last longer and longer. Don't let things build up for him, just do it lots and you'll both last longer and have lots of fun too.

Yes, he can do Kegel exercises to strengthen his pubococcygeus muscle. It's the same one a person uses, for example, to stop peeing when you are only half-way done. Learning to control the PC muscle is similar to learning to control your biceps: it gives you more strength and control doing tasks that involve that muscle - in your case, erections and ejaculations. Have your man read this article, which is an easy read on how to work that muscle out, in a very non-judgmental way:
http://ca.askmen.com/love/love_tip_60/67_love_tip.html
The bulk of the exercises are:
Exercise 1:
Quickly clench and release your PC muscle for a 10-second period -- take a 10-second break. Perform three sets, then take a 30-second break.
Clench and unclench for 5 seconds with 5-second breaks in between -- 10 times in a row.
Tighten your PC muscle for 30 seconds and release for 30 seconds -- 3 times in a row.
Repeat the first step and you're done for the day.
Exercise 2:
Tighten your muscle and hold for a count of 5, and release. Repeat 10 times.
Squeeze and release the muscle 10 times quickly. Repeat 3 times.
Tighten and release your PC muscle in long and short intervals for counts of 10. Repeat 3 times.
Squeeze your muscle and hold it for as long as you can. Try to work your way up to 120 seconds (relax, that's only two minutes).
Exercise 3:
Fully squeeze and release your muscle over and over again. Begin with one set of 30, and then slowly work your way up to over 100.
Squeeze as tightly as you possibly can (make sure it's only your PC muscle that you're clenching). Hold it for 20 seconds, then rest for 30 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
Exercise 4:
Simply begin squeezing and releasing your muscle for 2 minutes a day and gradually work your way up to doing it for 20 minutes at least 3 times a day. You should eventually be able to perform at least 200 repetitions per session.

Just when he feels he is going to orgasm, withdraw and using your thumb and forefinger squeeze the penis under the head. Use pressure until the need subsides. Keep practicing and overtime he will be able to last longer.

Yeah, stop what you're doing right before he's about to orgasm, and then start over with something else. If you're having intercourse, move to oral, etc. If you're focusing on his penis, start rubbing other parts of his body. Change rhythm. By the time he orgasms it's going to be the hottest, longest and most enjoyable orgasm he's ever had.
