It is a marketing technique just like everything else at retail stores ends in 99 cents rather than a whole dollar amount. It makes the price seem lower.

It is a marketing ploy used by almost everyone. When you walk in a Wal-Mart or Sears did you ever notice they offer their items for 12.99$ as oppose to 13$. It is a psychological thing to make you think you are paying less than the actual amount by changing it by a few cents as oppose to using a whole number.

In a guy or woman subject, sure, if somebody is dumb adequate to purchase a lemon for that lots, it quite is greater their fault than the sellers fault. they might in simple terms circulate purchase a lemon for much less someplace else. in spite of the shown fact that, in maximum places i've got faith there are regulations approximately how lots they are able to charge for products in shops and whatnot. If all lemons without warning value a hundred greenbacks for no reason, it does not be ok.

Started back when 19.9 cents seemed lower than 20.

Nowadays it really doesn't make a difference but they continue the charade.
