depends on the amount of body fat, and the type of test. It will stay in your hair, and spinal fluid for ever, but they can tell how long ago it was that you used. It will stay in blood for at least a month, and urine for even less time. THC is fat soluble, so if you have a lot of body fat, or are older (since that usually means more body fat) than it is harder to get out of your system. Hope this helps!

I don't do drugs, but in answer to your question I would say no, drugs can stay in your body for long periods of time.
If you are concerned perhaps about applying for a job, taking a drug test and testing positive for drugs, there is a test you can buy in the drugstore, an actual drug test which you can take to find out if you still have drugs in your system.. I saw one at my local CVS drug store. Ask at any drug store, they will direct you to where the drug test packages are. They are usually in the aisle with the pregnancy test kits and diabetic test kits.
Just a suggestion, but...pot is not the answer to your problems. That stuff will mess with your brain. You need to stay clean. If your friends are doing it, you need new friends. It is expensive and illegal, take charge of your life and your money and spend it wisely, buy a CD or if your are into sports, something sports related, sounds like you need a new hobby lol.. Music always makes me feel good, I get a natural high from it, especially techno music or upbeat groups like Smashmouth. Just a suggestion, I don't mean to sound preachy.

In addition to quiting for 30 days, on the day of the test, if you are studying for a test, drink lots of water. If there is any THC left in your urine, whatever miniscule amount there might be, it will be so dilute with all the water that you have had, it won't test positive.

I disagree with the last answer. A little weed ain't gonna kill ya. To pass a drug test, I would wait at least 5-6 weeks, if you were smoking heavily.
