First of all its all based on peronal preference. For example when I could use metal bats I was an Easton guy and didn't like TPX. Anyway, I currently have both. I have a Gold Glove Rawlings infielders mitt and a A2000 Wilson outfielders mitt, both are about 5 years old and were the top of the line back then. If you had asked this question 10 yrs ago I would have said Rawlings hands down, but in recent years I've been leaning toward Wilson. If you compare the best of Rawlings (heart of the hide) and the best of Wilson (A3000) the Wilsons are better in many ways. 1: A3000's are much closer to being game ready. The heart of the hide mitts are so stiff when you buy them it takes couple months for them to become usable. 2: I prefer a 11 3/4" in the infield and its hard to find a Rawlings that size with a good web. 3: I think that the new Wilsons are even better looking than the Rawlings. Although Rawlings is a very good brand I prefer Wilson.

I prefer Louisville Slugger gloves best. I've played with Rawlings and Wilson in the past, but this season I'm playing with my second Louisville Slugger glove and nothing beats the feel of it. The only break in it required was one application of oil and wrapping a ball in it for one night, then it was good to go. It seems to gel and move with my hand better than any glove I've had before. Just my opinion!

get a rawlings they are far greater helpful than wilson cuz i continuously used rawlings and each and each time i performed baseball w it, i had the least blunders on my team and it may wreck in after u placed some stress w a ball in it 4 some hours, and then play seize w somebody. believe me wilson is a ripoff

look on Kelleybaseball.com for gloves. The leather is so soft that you really don't have to break them in much.

of the big name brands I like Rawlings better

As someone who has used both, I liked Rawlings leather better, but the feel of the Wilson was my favorite. personal choice.

My boyfriend is a pitcher and he loves his Rawlins glove... i think it's really not the glove that matters, it's the player.
