You don't FALL in love. You are attracted, then you make a series of life-changing decisions based on your desire for the lady's well being.
Love is an action, not an emotion. Its actually a lot of work and sacrifice. But, like a job well done, that's a reward in itself.
You'll know you've succeeded when the lady reciprocates with similar hard work and sacrifice. And there's an immense satisfaction from seeing someone caring for you so much they'd voluntarily put asside their own comfort for yours.
