The ever richest man on the earth is King Solomon. Not only is he rich but also wealthy if you know what it meant to be wealthy.
He is still the ever richest man and no one has ever been rich as him.Ever!
In our time, there are a lot of people that are rich now but amongst the top ten are Bill gates, Sultan of brunel, Donald trump,Prince of Saudi Arabia and so on.

It depends on how you look at it. Bill Gates has more money on record than anyone else in the world. But I can guarantee you their is some Arab Sheik out there sitting on 50 billion in oil and just not spouting off about it. The pope has access to more money than anyone else in the world. Think about it, if he went on the TV and told every catholic they needed to send him $5, how much money could he get if he wanted to? Gates is rich but has a limited amount of funds available.
