Actually, you are right. Well, in your own everyday life, you can say what you want about anybody. When it comes to the government or the media, you become very limited. Any negative opinions about Israel or the Jewish cause will cause you to be labeled anti-Semetic. The main reason for this is a lobby in congress called AIPAC, or the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. This lobby is one of the most powerful in congress, and pretty much all bills pass through them. As a result, when it comes to foreign policy, anything that doesn't serve Israel in some way, is changed so that it does and anybody that tries to give their opinion regarding Israel negatively is labeled anti-Semitic. AIPAC also donates millions of dollars to campaigns of Presidents and congressmen alike, and these government officials "give back" by having a pro-Israeli stance. To this day, Israel recieves a $3 Billion welfare check every year straight out of taxpayers pockets. Whats funny is that Israel doesn't even need it. As far as we can guess, Israel is using that $3 Billion to fund the current war they are in. However, any moves to cut welfare check down or remove it entirely is immediately attacked by AIPAC, and they say any move that doesn't benifit Israel is benefiting the "terrorists". Yep, thats our corrupt government for you.
Regardless, it's not right to be anti-Semitic. Anti-Zionism on the other hand is something I definitely endorse.

you can say anything you want about the jews.....just say it....free speech.
most of what is said is being said because people want to take sides even though they have nothing to do with the middle east and don't live in those countries, so have no first hand experience.
they only see bloodshed, so take sides. who's side were they taking when the brits and US troops took iraq and spilled blood there. were we brits and the americans called all the names the jews are now being called, including being called nazi's by some.
if they want to call jews, they should also be calling the palestinians the same and the brits the same, the americans the same and every other nation of peoples who have slaughtered another race or adjoining country.
funny how it's only the terrorists who are thought well of as if it is the rest of the worlds fault they exist.

Yes, and the reason why is because they are historically a nomadic race and they can be found in the corridors of power in most countries especially the USA. They hold power in every sphere of influence and can make or break a countries economy at the drop of a hat, that is why no one dare say a word about them.
However, this does not mean that the UK population is gagged, we can still criticise the sharp methods that the companies and institutions they control use and we should do just that , after all even they are not above the law in spite of their great wealth.
So don't complain, act and expose them for what they are, this is where Hitler went wrong he could have destroyed the stranglehold they had on the German economy without any bloodshed. whatsoever.
Regrettably we are now witnessing a reverse situation to that
in the thirties and we have all allowed it to happen through our civilised tolerance and apathy!
Ad infinitum.

Please, let Israel be! They're a couple of million people trying to live in a piece of land about the size of New Jersey for thousands of years, surrounded by fierce enemies that want to see them all dead. The United States can attack and invade any country they want for no apparent reason and the world stays idle. Now Israel is trying to defend itself and we have a bunch of uneductated people criticizing them. We have to understand the context of the issue. It's not about 300 people dead, although we regret the loss of life, but it's about generation upon generation of struggle. Most of the arabs are cowards, they are a multitude of people living in a sea of land and they still can't destroy the jews. They hide behind women and children instead of fighting the israeli army head on. Israel should and will always defend itself. They have been thrown out of their land many times, and now that they get the chance to have an established state the whole world goes up against them. It's ridiculous. The world voted to have the state of Israel established. Their history goes beyond six thousand years on that region, much before there was islam (islam emerged around 600 a.d.). I say, go Israel, go after your enemies, but this time finish them off, don't pay attention to the world, because their opinion is always changing. Go United States, help your friend Israel and you will live in peace like you have for many years. My desire is that we see peace in Jerusalem...

Actually it is quite possible to have a free frank discussion about anything if you are able to express your points of view sensibly and without recourse to crude rhetoric - I actually believe that if there is a supreme being they are likely to be well ticked off with ALL religions - you only have to take a quick look at history to identify that almost 99.9% of wars etc are caused by religious intolerance of one sort of another!!
- If we could accept that regardless of race, colour, creed, religion etc etc we all actual are human beings with a place in this world maybe life would be a little sweeter!
When I see a child dying from religious persecution anywhere in the world, I wonder if anyone stops to think this - hey if they grew up they might find a cure for cancer/world hunger/ or even intolerance
Hey I can dream! That's the beauty of being a human being!!

I've been a strong advocate of peace with the Palestinians, a Palestinian state, etc etc ever since they started talking in 1994. But what's happening now has nothing to do with that, almost all Jews everywhere except for the ultra-liberal Tikkun-heads, the self-hating minuscule American Council for Judaism and the knife-in-Israel's-back Satmar Hasidim are now of one mind when it comes to defending Israel against a fanatical terrorist gang and its Syrian and Iranian supporters. I'm against a cease fire and I support whatever and I mean whatever it takes to destroy Hezbollah. I find myself in the unusual situation of agreeing with columnists I almost always disagree with, and vice versa.
To me, it's not a political or even a totally Israel-centered issue. I
believe in the right of self defense, and if someone is firing weapons into your home, you have a perfect right to stop him and keep him stopped by whatever means necessary. Meanwhile this has become a launching platform for antisemites all over the US, from C-span callers to a drunken Mel Gibson finally showing his true colors to a murderer in Seattle.

I have noticed that too look at Mel Gibson... not to mention when they are confronted with the truth they first try to deny it then they act as if it doesn't exist... in fact to tell you the truth the Jews I know are some of the worst liars in the world cause they think everybody is stupid....

There is nothing negative to say about Jews. They have contributed more to law, medicine, science, the arts, and society than any other culture in the world.

Really? It seems like lots of people are saying bad things about any given group.
Doesn't mean those bad things are always correct. And where they're not, people are likely to point out the invalid assumptions.
But that doesn't stop people from making the comments in the first place.

Yes the jews are the worlds first racists as they consider themselves god's chosen race. They despise non-jews who they call gentiles which is a term of racial abuse as far as they are concerned but any criticism of them in called anti-semitic.
