How can I help a released prisoner who is homeless, get back into her community?

There should be some organizations that can assist her in getting a place to live and/or job.

How well you know her also would matter. If you don't know her well, then you'd be taking a chance on getting "burned."

Look in your phone book for organizations or talk to somebody in the social work field.

It's admirable of you to want to help, but you should be careful.

Perhaps her community doesn't want her anymore...it's not your job to do this. It's her's and her parole officer's job.
