They're pretty far. And attempting to visit them would mean less time spent doing science.

Not very near, and there is no chance of the rovers visiting them. The rovers have each driven less than 10 miles and the Vikings are hundreds or even thousands of miles away.

They are very far away, and there is nearly no chance they could make it that far. I would be interested to know where the Beagle probe launched by Britain was supposed to come down, and to see I there would be any way one of the rovers could reach that.

Unless of course, the preview for the Transformers movie was true and one of the robots took it out.
