For nausea, here are some tips. As far as the fever, you may want to call your doctor. Fevers aren't normal in pregnancy, so there could be something going on. Now, on with the tips!
Eat small, frequent meals every 2-3 hrs- 2 to 3 ozs of protein and carbohydrates are best.
Eat saltine crackers or bread before getting up in the morning and through out the day.
Eat or drink something sweet- fruit, fruit juice- before going to bed and before getting up in the morning.
Avoid foods with strong, offensive oders; citrus; greasy and spicy foods; fatty foods.
Increase rest.
At bedtime, try 1/2 unisom tablet or 100 mg B6 twice a day.
Tylenol is good to take. It is totally safe and won't harm the baby at all. So is unisom. I start taking it as soon as I find out I'm pregnant and up until I have the baby. It will not cross the placenta, so there is no worries about it harming the baby.
Don't take any herbal remedy, unless your doctor approves it first. Some herbs can harm you, or the baby. Just because it says natural and herbal, doesn't mean it's safe.

I am 6 1/2 weeks. First time as well. I have learned that SALTINE CRACKERS are now my new best friends, I really didn't have nausea until a few days ago, and now I am afraid to move in fear of throwing up. But the CRACKERS are the best things to have. If you are getting sick in the morning, when you first get up try eating some before you get out of bed, it helps with the rest of the morning. And just keep a bag close to you at all times. They are the greatest!!!
I haven't had much of an appetite either. I am a little afriad of food, the smells are starting to get to me. But make sure you try to eat, you want to stay nurished for the baby. Try eating more smaller meals that way it will help with the nausea, it seems for me if I eat a heavy meal I pay for it with awful nausea. Little meals seem to help, but the problem that I face is actually eating them, again no appetite to eat.
For the fever I get one each time I get a head ache. Drink lots of water that seems to be helping, and keep a cool cloth around. Considering its been so hot, it helps. And please monitor your fever, you don't want to get to hot for it could be signs of miscarriage. So just be careful. But a slight fever is okay. Have you talked to you doctor about this? Make sure to mention it the next visit.
Good Luck. I know that it hasn't been real fun for me, but I am toughing thru it. :) And I've been told that the nausea will go away. REMEMBER CRACKERS ARE GREAT BEST FRIENDS.....:)

I was always told that any Tylenol product was fine when I was pregnant, but that was 10 years ago. My ob said as long as Tylenol was connected to the name, go for it...whether it was to help me sleep, pain, or cold.
And nausea can be a very personal thing, one thing may not work well for another. Saltine crackers by the bed, snack on a couple before you get up, and also plenty of water.
I got more nauseous the less I ate, so even if you feel bad, try to munch on a little something throughout the day....so keep those crackers handy.
If it gets real bad, and you throw up a lot, there is a medicine the ob can prescribe that is a rectal med (gross, but at least you won't throw it up) to help calm the queasiness.
Hope that helps you some!

Just to let you know that Tylenol is absolutely safe to take during any stage of the pregnancy. If you went to your GP today about your fever that is what he would give you.
The one you do NOT want to take is Aspirin or Motrin. They thin the blood which is bad for baby.
Generally the nausea is just going to stick around until the second trimester (usually). Some swear by crackers and some even swear by cantaloupe. The only thing I could hold down with my daughter was Diet Sprite!
Everyone is different, just try to hang in there :) You got a long time to go!

Well sometimes the nausea has to be helped by a physician with the use of a drug called Diclectin. No it does not harm the baby at all (i have had to use it twice and both of my children are fit as fiddles). Other things you can try at home are flattened ginger ale and light crackers. Also try spreading out your meals into 5 or 6 little ones throughout the day.
Another thing i found that helped was even before i sat up in bed, i would put a plate of crackers beside my bed the night before, then in the morning i would eat a couple, let them settle, then sit up. If your nausea is keeping you from eating at all the definately get to you obstetrician.

First of all congratulations! It is normal that you dont have much of an appetite, but still you have to eat, so try to eat 6 small meals instead of 3 big ones a day, that will help ease the nause a little. Also try to eat a cracker before you get out of bed and drink ginger ale. I'm also pg and natural almonds have worked wonderfully for me. It is not normal to have a fever, you may be running an infection, you should talk to your dr asap.

cold compress, relax and try to find out why you have a fever... your body is fighting something. have you seen a doctor yet? As far as the nausea is concerned, just nibble on light food, light soups, crackers, etc. I'm worried about your fever though. You definately need to lower your temp. Tylenol is the only thing safe for you and your child. The fever is awful for the child to be experiencing. Take a cool bath and wear loose soft clothing to keep cool...

Its ok to take tylenol during pregnancy first of all. I would call my doctors office about the fever though. And try to eat small amounts instead of big meals until the nausea goes away. Crackers work well.If it gets too bad your doctor can give you medication for it but I personally didnt like taking it. It made me really tired. Good Luck and Congratulations.

like everyone said crackers for nausea try to split your vitamin too those made me sick take 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at bed time. The next thing you'll be feeling is tired, then swollen( starting the belly pudge) , then you'll feel hungry all the time and have to pee every 10 minutes if you haven't already , Tylenol and pseudophed are the only things you can take while pregnant and tums if you get acid stomach i lived off tums later in my pregnancies. Congrats and good luck.. keep track of you questions on a piece of paper so you can ask you doctor because when your in your appointment you'll forget.

Congratulations Mom :)
You have to eat, because the baby is getting everything from you, maybe by getting prenatal vitamins will increase your appetite. Is really important for you and the baby to get enough nutrition's.
Nausea i used to have it in the morning when i will brush my teeth, i find it easier to eat a piece of bread before doing that, but don't worry the nausea goes away after couple of weeks. Fever? Normal? That i don't know, maybe ask your doctor for that.
To keep the fever down keep drinking fluids (cold) and maybe take a cold shower usually it puts the fever down.
Good luck
