I can not remember what I saw first because that was too long ago - I am 33 now. I do remember the first movies my kids saw. My son was 2 weeks old when I took him with me to see Addams Family Values. He slept through most of it. My daughter was 14 months when I took her to see Strip Tease. I had a bad day and needed a night out and had no sitter. She loved the colors and the music. She danced with the music. She is 10 now and no sign that she wants to strip so I guess there was no underlying affects.

I have early memories of some Disney non-classics - Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Pete's Dragon and Herbie Goes Bananas. But the first time I went to movies and they made a big impression on me was the Star Wars movies (Oh how we went action-figure crazy!), Grease (Oh how we went VINYL soundtrack crazy!), and later, ET, which was just...weeeeird. :o) Strange thing is I'd go see any of them again right now rather than pretty much anything I've seen this year...Guess they really don't make 'em like they used to.

Its probably the silliest movie ever, but I was 7 or 8 and I freaked out on it. I even got myself a Lhasa Apso and named him Digby. The movie was called Digby the Biggest Dog in the World. I don't know if anyone else ever saw this movie. But thanks for asking this question, brought back a lot of memories!

Its mentioned in imdb so it does exist-

It must have been Return of the Jedi or E.T. I do remember going to see Jedi when I was 7, I'm not sure if I saw E.T. during its original run or re-release.

"Star Wars" I think - it was a drive in and the uncle who was babysitting us was on a date. I just remember falling asleep in the back of the car.
