It depends what it looked like. If it was still a kitten and it was small and podgy, I'd call it Dumpling.
If it was a boy I'd call it Dougal, Ted, or Brennan, (as in Bishop) after the episode of Father Ted where there are rabbits everywhere.
My friend had a rabbit called Labbit Rabbit. That was so dumb it got cute lol.
Other than that I might call it Magic, 'cos rabbits always are...

I would love to name a rabbit Thumper if I had one, but I do not see the point as my gf is a bunny boiler, therefore becoming attached to the rabbit would be a mistake on my behalf. the more distant I am the less it will hurt

The only rabbit I'd buy would be from Ann Summers so it wouldn't need a name.

Thumper!
I had a rabbit and it was called Neo, after the Matrix film, you know at the start he follows a rabbitt (well a woman with a rabbitt tattoo!)

Lola because mine has just died and she was called lola, every time my 2 year old sees a bunny she says "lola". Bless her!
Cotton tail is good though too or Miss twitch it, both from Peter Rabbit.
