how do you choose when buying a mp3 player?

what do you think of the ipod nano and what makes it so captivating over other mp3 players in the market?

It's mostly because of the hype of the iPod brand. iPod Nano is lighter, smaller, cheaper; with a capacity much smaller than the original iPod line-up yet still larger than other low-end mp3 players out there. It's a perfect recipe to captivate the casual music listeners out there, including the wet market of teenagers, who can't ever imagine filling up to 60gb of harddisk space with music but still want to join in on the iPod trend.

well an ipod nano can only support music and pictures. I'm pretty sure it doesn't even have radio on it. So i would get an MP3 player which is what i did. Besides MP3 players have different looks and i found that my friends are more amazed of my mp3 player which was less than half the price of an nano than my friend who has a nano. Everyone has ipods these days. I got something unique and so can you. The only bad thing is that MP3 players can't hold as much music as Nanos, and of my testing, mp3 players have better sound quality.

It's not any better than other mp3 players other than they look good and are the actual ipod. As for performance though, they're all pretty good.

Pros for nano: It holds 4 g, screen
Cons for nano:it has only like 5-6 hours of playtime (shuffle has like 12 hours of playtime)

I wish I knew... Just got hubby one for his b-day. He loves it. Says he can set some pictures on it. Watch movies and have sooo many songs on it.
yeah his phone does all that too... but this one is black!

It's small, cheap, doesn't beak, hold 4 gigs... so it's alright.
