it was the Romans that did it but under the influence of the Jews. they were afraid their own religion would be no more which they were right about. when Christians came they wiped out any other religion or believe that would stand against them, even if they were better. the Romans were also the people who spread the religion, if they had not supported the Christians believe, it wouldn't have spread into Europe since the only power in Europe was the roman power and they had a lot of influence over Europe. Romans are called the fathers of Europe since they civilized the European tribes and even to days Europe has inherited a lot of things from the roman culture.

Assuming he even existed, which is debateable, it's important to remember these things:

Crucifixion was a ROMAN form of execution, used for political criminals.

The Jewish method was stoning, but as a subject nation they were not allowed to carry out an execution.

So if Jesus even existed, the Romans did it. The claim that the High Priest and his cadre egged them on should not confer collective blame on the Jews. The High Priest was illegitimate, having bought his position from the Romans, and was a collaborator who was despised by the people.

A corrupt government under the head of Pontinus Pilot, where the prominant figures currently heading the Judaen church (including Caiaphas) happened to be men more interested in power than the good aspects of their own faith.

In essence, Jesus was killed by the desire of Pilot to remain in secular power (as Jesus's title was set up in direct confrontation to his own as a lord and king) and by the Jewish Elders who were concerned with retaining the perks of their current religious leadership, which Jesus also posed as a threat to.

Jesus was born to die for our sins, so that we may make it to eternal life with Our Father. God knew he was gonna die & at some point before his death, Jesus also knew he was gonna die, only to rise from the dead 3 days later. Pontious Pilate played on the emotions of the people of that time, those who happened to be gathered at the time of sentencing. It is very easy to see why the leaders of that time would be threatened by someone who was being seen as a king & being adorned by the people of that time. The people of that time, in that area, were presented 2 people that Pontious said were "criminals" & they made their choice. There is no way to know exactly who the people in that crowd were, what race or religion they were, just that they were people. So the answer is HUMANS put Jesus to death & while dying he still forgave them/us.

The Romans crucified him after the jews forced them to do it., Pontias Pilate asked if they would rather he killed an insane murderer called Barrabas but they said no set the murderer free and kill Jesus..... It's all in the Bible, and the film "The Passion of the Christ" used the bible as a script..(more or less)

The Roman empire did. But of course they were meant to kill Jesus coz they were the world's superpower back then and had the opportunity to witness His miracles and eventually ended up spreading Christianity.

jews gave him up to the romans to crusify :
Jesus of Nazareth: The most well known victim of crucifixion in history, Jesus was condemned to crucifixion (most likely in AD 29) by Pilate, the Roman governor of Judea, at the instigation of the Jewish leaders who were scandalized by his claim to being the Messiah and his disdain for their religious traditions. The original Greek text of the Gospels leaves doubt on whether the instrument used to execute Jesus was actually a cross (see sub-article Rendering of σταυρός (staurós)).
