Symphony No. 3 in C minor (the "Organ Symphony") by Camille Saint-Saens, closely followed by "Le carnaval des animaux" a musical suite in 14 short movements by the same composer. There are so many possibilities! Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copeland; agonizingly beautiful duets from the operas the Pearl Fishers ("Au fond du temple saint") by Georges Bizet, Marriage of Figaro ("Che soave zeffiretto ") by W.A. Mozart, and Lakme ("Sous le dôme épais" also known as the Flower Duet) by Leo Delibes; "Bist du bei mir" by G.H. Stozel from J.S. Bach's Anna Magdalena Songbook; The Creation, an oratorio by F.J. Haydn; The Messiah, an oratorio by G.F. Handel; the 2nd movement of Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 in A major ("Pastoral") . . ..

as far as playing: oh my god!! that is mine too!! i love the part where it just keeps going up in the middle of the piece and then back down in staggered scales. the pathetique is good too by beethoven and the piano soundtrack ROCKS too!
as far as listening: the RACH 3 (rachmoninoff's piano concert no. 3 - said to be the hardest piano piece ever written!)
