This question really applies to Eisenhower, Reagan, and Clinton as they are the three eight-year presidents that followed the 22nd Amendment. Honestly, I doubt that any of the three would have been elected to a third term. Eisenhower would probably not have run in any case. Reagan, while there were some What Ifs about a third term, probably wouldn't have run either due to age. Clinton, while still young enough to consider it and reasonably popular enough to be considered, probably would have also not have run as he fares better as a private citizen.
The two-term limit tradition was set by Washington and followed until FDR ran for a third term in 1940. The pressing reason for this was that war had broken out in Europe and the conventional wisdom was to not change leaders in the midst of a possible crisis, and it didn't hurt that FDR was still very popular with the electorate. The conditions under which a third-term run by the three mentioned before simply didn't exist, and even without the 22nd Amendment, the US electorate would have likely not accepted a president for more than two terms unless a major crisis existed.

well, technically, it wasn't until after fdr that a third term was no longer allowed. So since FDR, probably only a few would have been re-elected to a third term. I'm thinking Eisenhower, health was an issue there though. I think Bill Clinton would have been elected again as well.
Reagan would not have been simply because he was really old, and at the beginnings of Alzheimers.

George Washington was allowed to, but he didn't want the presidency to turn into a monarchy. Theodore Roosevelt probably could have been elected to a third term if he had decided to run in 1908. Calvin Coolidge might have been elected to a third term if he had decided to run. After the amendment that limits the presidency to two terms, Dwight Eisenhower was very popular and he might have been elected to a third term. Ronald Reagan was very popular and may have been elected to a third term. Bill Clinto was popular and likely would have been elected to a third term if he had been allowed to run by law.

FDR was elected to a third term because he pulled the country out of the Great Depression.
I think the following would have been:
Abraham Lincoln and JFK (if they were not assassinated), Ronald Reagan, and Bill Clinton.

Until Eisenhower, they were all "allowed" to run for a third term. Washington or Jefferson could have been reelected if they chose.
Since the constitutional limit, only Eisenhower would have been reelected. Reagan was blemished by Iran Contra and Alzheimer's was beginning to surface. Clinton was disgraced and could not have stood up to criticism.

Eisenhower for sure. Reagan perhaps. Clinton possibly. It is hard to imagine that we would ever again have someone who could hold it together for more than two terms. Clinton and Reagan are now both being remembered more fondly than they were in the last year of their final term. 12 years of one administration would be hard to imagine considering the speed at which the world changes. Media blatherheads now seek to instantly analyze complex events. That alone conditions any president to offer lukewarm solutions to difficult questions.
Bush is being harshly judged for his black and white solutions, but it will take years to understand the significance of this two terms.

There's only one President that I would even consider re-electing, and that is President Nancy Reagan. She was the best President we've ever had!
