I'm 23 years old and remember watching this kid's programme when i was a kid but can't remember what it's called. It had a irish (i think) male and female ginger leprachaun/ troll thing in it (wasn't cartoon more muppets) and was based in a garden. That's as much as i can remember. Can anyone around my age remember this and tell me the name of it?

The Riddlers was first shown on ITV during early lunchtime programs for children in 1986. It was made by Yorkshire television and ran for over 10 years finally being stopped in 1996.
It concerned the goings on in the magical garden of a cottage owned by miss Marjorie Dawn (played by Victoria Williams). The Riddlers (Mossop - older/wiser and Tiddler - young and inexperienced) live in a well in Marjorie's garden and appear to help both Marjorie and Mr. Grimley the chimney sweep (played by Peter Llewellyn Jones). The Riddlers have the ability to magically transport themselves to anywhere. Sometimes the Riddlers would transport Marjorie and Mr. Grimley with them. Tiddler was an inexperienced young female Riddler. She had to solve twelve Riddles (Aesop's Fables) in order for her to be upgraded to full Riddler status.

It is the riddlers they lived in Marjorie's well in her garden and helped out Grimley who was a chimney sweep he was human along with Marjorie the riddlers themselves where Mossop Tiddler and Middler two had mad looking ginger hair and one I think was white haired.
I loved this programme and have the riddler dolls (sad but true) they are always a talking point though when friends come over and my neighbour tells me they come alive at night! maybe that is why in the morning things look as if they have moved.

i remember something like that... and they would always be running around on a rainbow or sumthing... dont kno if its the same programme, but i think it was just called "rainbow colours" or sumthing

I think it was the riddlers. was one called mossop? there was a.male and a female, and i think they lived in a well.
