U don't give enough information. Do u want it portable? A cheap wand hooked to a PC? UPC bar codes or Code Of Nine bar codes? Do U want to print your own bar codes on a laser printer?
they have wand type readers at Office Depot and Fry's Electronics. Some come in a box with the software to make labels and hook up to a PC.
