Have you noticed that people usually marry someone who is equally good looking?

Think of people you know and see if this holds. The only exception I see is when the less good looking person has money.

I've seen young marry old, fat marry skinny, tall marry short. And it seems like pretty people have ugly kids and ugly people have cute kids. That's been my observation at least.

Thats just natures way of keeping the gene pool (relatively) clean...

Its also known that people are more likely to be attracted to other people who look very similar to themselves in their (opposite sex alter ego)

In other words...a chick will often be attracted to a guy who looks like her in his female form

not really. I always find out that the most gorgeous men actually pick ordinary or less attractive chicks. Probably they have some other "qualities.."

I married someone who was hotter than me, it posed problems because everyone was always after him. I'm pretty critical of myself though, I may be prettier than I think lol. It's okay now, I divorced his ****, but whatev.
