Hello there! It is possible for your mother to visit you in the USA, however, she has to satisfy the requirements for a tourist visa, like supporting documents and a successful interview at the US embassy. The "mortality rate" of US visa applicants in the Philippines is about 80%, meaning only 2 out of 10 applicants are issued non-immigrant visas, like the tourist visa. Your mom has to present her case truthfully, that she will have to return to the Philippines and not go "TNT" as some Filipinos on a tourist visa do, and mind you, that is regardless of age and sex. So I advise you to visit the website of the US Embassy in Manila (just type "US Embassy Manila" then press "i'm feeling lucky" on your google). the website has a complete list of the requirements and procedures. Good luck!

Applicants for visitor visas must show that they qualify under provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act. The presumption in the law is that every visitor visa applicant is an intending immigrant. Therefore, applicants for visitor visas must overcome this presumption by demonstrating that:

- The purpose of their trip is to enter the U.S. for business, pleasure, or medical treatment;
- They plan to remain for a specific, limited period; and
- They have a residence outside the U.S. as well as other binding ties which will insure their return abroad at the end of the visit.

You can have your mother go to the embassy or you can go online to bluepage.gov and they have the forms that you can down load. The process is kind of time consuming but that is the easiest way to do it. As you know in the philippines they might take your mom for some extra cash if she isn't careful. Hope she gets there and enjoys her stay. Best of luck
