Elway's last game was not a bowl game. Stanford needed to beat Cal in The Game in 1982, but the infamous kickoff return for a TD through the Stanford band cost them a bowl bid.

please learn proper english dialog and sentence structure, you questiuon makes no sense. Elway played baseball and football for Stanford in CA. He was drafted to playbaseball by the Yankees, but played football instead.
