This action could open doors of the past all over again. Ask yourself why you guys are ex's? What has changed in his or your behavior to give you the idea of living with him would be pleasant? Suppose you meet someone and invite them back to your place. Will your ex be comfortable with this action; and how would you feel if or when he brings a date home?

No. In a college town he shouldnt have trouble finding a roommate. My ex tried things like that, but he was just manipulative and possesive and when I passed on him, he started stalking me and moved across the state to my town, showed up at work unexpected.... Eventually I had to move (twice), change jobs, and get married to get him off my trail.

There's only 2 ways it can work:
1. You get back with him and marry him
2. You don't mind all the drama as both of your b/f or g/f come over to visit, make phone calls, or spend the night

No, I don't think it's a good idea. It would definitely limit your possibilities of a new relationship. Would you date a man who was living with his ex?

Not unless you can get over the fact that he may bring dates home (or you), and deal with the possibility of the "friends with benefits" scenario and not be jealous(both ways)...But if you like each other and get the ground rules set(in writing!!! signed!!!), then go for it!!!

Unless you want to start a relationship again with him, no. Tell him that you guys are done and its time to move on. The more you spend time with him, the more he will think that you still want him.
