This week, I will be getting my free iPod and really don't know much about downloading music.

Could you give me a quick lesson?

Also, how do I transfer music on my CD's to the iPOD?

yes i have an ipod nano. they come with a cd to download to your computer ( u need a computer) which has the i tunes program on it. you need to plug the ipod using the cable they gave you into the sbc port on the back of your computer modem. this charges the ipod for you. and if you want anything to go onto it, it needs to be plugged into the computer.

once they walk you through the steps and its all set up...to get a cd on the pod, you just put the disc into your drive. it should pop up on your screen, which disc it is and then all the tracks should appear. on the right there will be an icon to import cd. clicking this will put these songs in your library. you can have as many as you want in the library. then under file you can choose create new playlist( and you can name it). and then you can click and drag the songs you want to those folders. Oh, when you are importing the cds, you need to check the little boxes next to the songs, so that way if you dont want every song you dont have to.

so then if you get a playlist that you like, and want to burn it to a cd, just click burn playlist to disc. make sure they are all checked though.

anytime you create something new, you need to then plug in your pod and select update ipod under file. to download from i tunes go to music store, and it connects you and you can browse and buy songs, then they automatically download but you have to update.

so you can change everything around delete songs, playlists just have to update. its really easy, hope this helped.

It's really easy, and you'll figure it out once you get your iPod. To download music, there will be a little tab on the side that says "Music Store" where you can search for music to download. To buy music, you will need a credit card. If you don't have one, you can always buy gift cards--that's what I do!!

As for CD's, upload the iPod software and insert your CD. On the top right corner there will be a button that says "Burn Disc". Proceed from there.

Plus, www.apple.com can help you with almost anything when you search for it. Easy peasy japanesey!!

i ought to bypass with the iPod contact because of easy contact-reveal navigation and a impressive length reveal. The reveal length is appropriate for taking area in video clips on the bypass. The music sounds tremendous by the headphones, yet you could merely use the headphones that come out of the container, no different headphones will in good structure. 8GB will not be that a lot, yet in case you dont choose to apply countless memory, 8GB will be okay. in case you choose to get a more less expensive iPod bypass with the classic, yet i do recommend the contact.

I just got an iPod yesterday....I'm still learning, but so far easy to do. Install disc that comes with your iPod first. Then plug in iPod, iTunes will open, put in music CD, import CD (upper right hand corner).

It's great!! You will love it.
Transferring music is very easy and when you get your i-pod it will either come with directions or will give you an on-line site that will have directions available. They are very easy to follow.
Have fun and enjoy it.
