I work in a natural foods store, and it just irritates me when people are mistaken about the price of something simply because they didn't bother to read the signs closely. Also, I sometimes get irritated when people try to use the entrance as an exit, even though there is a sign on the door that says in plain English, "DO NOT ENTER."

People are irritating. Just look at some of the questions on here. People want you to google info for them. People have become lazy and don't want to read the signs. People may say you need more customer service skills, but working retail is hard. People say the customer is always right, but they aren't. They just think they are and you have to be nice to them so you can get their money.

I think working in Customer Service needs a whole lot of patience. That is where u find yourself. This will happen for as long as you are serving the public. That is why you are there. To guide them. Some of us are to lazy to read signs or price tags. And of cause if there is someone we could ask that would tell us verbally, why not?
So, you got to understand that people are just like that. If you want to keep the customers coming in, just smile, then kick your toes under the table and swear under your breath. hehe. It might help you!!

OHhhhhhhhh puhlease. You need to quit paying attention to other people and do your job. Its too much time on your hands to worry about people getting slammed in the face by the wrong door while entering. Its not your problem.

It's because there's a whole bunch of people who don't speak English in America, they expect u to have signs in a dozen different languages. If that isn't bad enough, they do it just yo piss u off.

sounds like you are low on vitamin B maybe a cup of chamomile would help? Also if you work in sells you really need to be more tolerant of people.
