Yes as a Compound of Aluminum it was invented some years ago, It is Light Transparent but not yet optically true in transparency yet.

Yes, in the year 3087 a man by the name of tom smith with walk out of the woods and trip over a plant that nobody has ever seen wich will contain the partical that is needed to make transparent aluminum.

Perhaps. Crystal glass has 30% of lead, so the fact of being a metal wouldn't be an issue.
See the link below, other metals are used as well.
So maybe Aluminum is not out of question.

LOL! Star Trek. :) Cool. YES. I believe it will, or some transparent material stronger than glass. It'll happen. Maybe in the next 50 years or so. We seem to be advancing pretty fast. So, who knows? We may have hover cars before I die. :) Maybe a resort on the Moon. All we can do is wait and see.

Yes it will and may already be in use. It was revealed in popular mechanics magize that the front windshield of the President's limo "USA One" is actually transparent steel not plexiglass so yes it already exist since transparent steel does Good question

Aluminum is a metal, and metal cannot be transparent due to it's molecular structure. Try some saran wrap for now! ;)

I dont think so, they cant just convert a sheet of metal to transparent plastic.
