I had a regular period until I was 6 months pregnant. Doctor said some women have their periods the whole pregnancy. So its normal.

It's not considered a period, but usually around the time you would be due for a period there would be about a day of light spotting, when implantation occurs. Some women, like myself, do have bleeding throughout a prenancy but this is not a period and needs to be reported to an OB ASAP since it can indicate a problem. I had placenta previa, which can be very serious.

it's possible to be pregnant and still have a period. It's rare, especially after the first month or so, that it happens and isn't a warning sign of fetal distress or miscarriage, so seeing a doctor right away is a good idea.

Even if you want an abortion, or this is an unwanted pregnancy, a miscarriage still needs a doctor's supervision, as it can be life threatening to you as well. Don't play games with your life or your babies, see a doctor if you suspect something is wrong.

If I didn't know I was pregnant I would have thought I was having a light period, when in fact I was going through a miscarriage. Find out for sure if you are pregnant and go to the doctor.

Yes. It can happen, but if you find that you are bleeding, you should probably let your doctor know either when it starts, or if it is still going the next day. Some women do have periods during pregnancy, but it should be checked out just to make sure there is nothing wrong.

Implantation Bleeding:
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.
