I supported Bush until shortly after 9-11. When that attack happned, I was glad he was in the driver's seat. After 911, our country was more unified than I have ever seen it in my life. The patriotism was amazing. Then, he flushed all that away and seperated our country, and the world more than I have ever seen in my life. He blew a chance to continue this unity and bring us all together. Now Democrats and republicans fight like people at high school football games.

The unity was fleeting at best. It was not Bush who tore us apart, but the nasty partisan attacks of the Democrats and their puppets in the media, and the drooling fools who choose to believe the lies and propaganda they spew.

The Dems and media have attacked Bush nearly continuously for almost 6 years now, except for the all-too-brief hiatus after 9/11.

What bothers me most is that so many people ask this question, blaming only Bush, with nothing to back that up, and completely absolving the Democrats, who have a long record of vile and vicious attacks on Bush.

You must be very naive. This has been going on from the beginning of time. Republicans and Democrats have never gotten along. 9/11 is not the first disaster like this. Do you remember Pearl Harbor? Why don't you find out what you can do personally to help make things better instead of just blaming one person for it all. It takes all of us working together to get things done and to do it right.

What the hell is all the beef about anyways well I think it is this:)Pres Bush or and higher ups in Washington wants to stop giving people jobs until so many recruits are signed up for the army, navy, airforce, marines AND it is not okay with me. How the hell do we know the government could be doing it cause I notice the jobs openings are zilch to none. How about that for paranoid thought?or maybe it is true.

I do not agree that the blame goes to Bush. You should know that the president of the US does not have free reign in our country. He cannot do anything without the approval of congress. So why do Americans point the finger soley at him and condem him? THAT is what is tearing this country apart. It disheartens me that Americans are either too ignorant or too stubborn to see that the blame is upon us all. WE elected the representatives in congress and WE elected Bush. Those are facts, so we can all take ownership of it.

I hear that.

The argument of today started in 1992 when ladykiller Clinton gave Bush41 and embarrasing defeat in a 3-way race in a recession. This incensed Rush Limbaugh,an overweight reactionary who couldn't be president because of his looks. That pretty much started the right-wing talk radio crap of today.

Now,we need to "saty the cousre",which is Bushspeak for We dont know what the hell we're doin',but by dammit,we're doin' it anyway.yehaw!

We need a major change of direction right now.The divison at the moment comes from the Right pretending to be too good to listen to moderates and liberals, which is nonsense, and it is hateful, but its ultimately about makes money.

A return to Centrism is in order here.

well the current adminitration does not care too much about the american people as it puts out. they only want to win a so-called "war on terrorism" (which im my opinion can never be won. the middle east is a historically violent region that cannot be changed so suddenly.) its sad to see people dying for no reasons at all. not only americans, but innocent bystanders as well. werent we supposed to be in iraq only or finding nuclear weapons? then the conservatives try to hide their mistake by saying that "iraq is a troubled nation! lets spend billions or our hard working american taxpayer's money to bring a democratic government to a place where suicide bombers kill someone on a regular basis!" i love america, but why did the american people vote for people who make such bad decisions?

Are you sure it is Bush tearing us apart, or is it the liberal socialists who are bitter about their second election loss that are doing it.

It seems that nomatter what bush does, the liberals disagree with him, even if they agreed with the idea before hand.
