I had irregular periods, I was experiencing some strong PMS symptoms before going to the gyno last week. She put me on the new pill YAZ and told me to start taking it the next day. I have been taking it for four days, I have no symptoms at all anymore. But it should be time for my period within this week.

So, my question is, could birth control delay my period?

If you are just starting on BC or have made a sudden change in it then yes it's possible for it to delay your period. If you are concerned then simply ask your doctor...they are the most knowledgeable.
