Well, you already got your answer, but I wanted to put in my 2-cents worth just cuz I'm a child of the 80's!! LOL!!!
The remake of the song is pretty OK; but no one will ever be able to top the video for the original. That's when MTV was still GOOD, in my humble opinion! Even my father-in-law remembers it & said it was one of the best videos ever. (That came up one of the first times I met him...I knew I was gonna like my in-laws then!! HAHAHA!!!)
