yes and I have and it was the best thing that I did in my life. Just make sure you bring a friend or two with you and meet where there are other people around.

I have after several months of talking on the phone, emails, IM's. I would not recommend it because not knowing someone in person is really not good for many reasons. Most guys online are there because something is wrong, they can't hook up with women in person. Usually they don't tell the truth and are looking for one thing, no matter how sincere they may seem. Best to try to meet someone that lives in your area and get to know them slowly...in person.

I actually have met a guy that I like alot and would love to meet him someday but I would like to talk on the phone first get to know him a little better.

I would do a basic background check on him first. Using advanced Search, google his name using exact spelling. Assuming you have his phone #, I would google the # as well. See if anything unusual comes up, lets say for instance...he's married...or a sex offender.
ONLY meet him in a very busy, public place. Get there early...so that he does not see YOU drive in. ( If the dude turns out to be creepy, you don't want him having your license plate #, or have him follow you home )

My sister met a guy that she met in the web. But it was right in the same town. So if you have met someone, try to be in the same area as you live because you never know about these guys that live across the country. Good Luck!

I did and I married him 2 years to the day later! BEFORE I met him, however, I did some checking on things he had told me re: employment, divorce, etc. I also met him in a public place for lunch and had friends "stationed" nearby, just in case.

it rerally depends. i would only meet him if me and him talked for quite a long time and i feel confident. i gotta make sure he's bein honest bout everything he is sayin and he gotta b from my area and make sure i meet him in a crowded place so dat i feel safe (if possible durin day time for the first few times). other dan this i wouldnt meet no one. u have to b very careful ;)

Depends how long we been chatting, and if he talks about other things besides sex, common interests, and goals. IF he don't want to meet in public place or do the things you want to do he is dangerous.
