The earliest you can get a positive result on the most sensitive pregnancy tests is seven days after ovulation. 10-12 days after ovulation would give better result but even then a significant percentage of women who are indeed pregnant will still show a negative result. Your hCG levels should double every 2-3 days and many people won't have a positive test until the first day of a missed period or even a few days later.A blood test is more accurate, but not necessarily more sensitive. Urine strip tests are generally the same but it is very important that you do it properly. You should use midstream urine -- meaning you should pee a little first and then either hold the test stick in your urine stream or use a collection cup. If you would like to collect urine in a cup even though you bought a stick test, you need to hold the absorbant tip of the stick in the cup of urine for 5-10 seconds (TCPI, Inc. says this is more accurate for their tests). Otherwise follow the directions with the test.

Some tests claim to detect a pregnancy as soon as five days or so before the first day of the missed period, but that is only in a little more than half of those tested. Any test is pretty reliable if you take it at least the first day of your missed period. Take it first thing in the morning (concentration of hcg will be the highest), or at least two hours after the last time you went to the bathroom, without drinking anything inbetween.

The best way to find out if you're pregnant is to go to the Dr. and have blood drawn. This way the doctor can see if you're pregnant and then he'll be able to look at your HCG levels to tell you about how far along you are. BUT, if you want to do an at home test, I would go with a Digital test. Clear Blue Digital tests are only 7 or 8 dollars and detect it earlier than any other one. You don't have to worry about fuzzy lines, it says pregnant or not pregnant. Make sure you take it in the morning, that is when your HCG levels are higher in your urine!!

Use this one. Trust me! Just follow the directions step by step
The FIRST RESPONSE® test is so sensitive that most pregnant women have enough of the pregnancy hormone, hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), to be detected as early as 4 days before their expected period. For example, if you expect your period on the 21st day of the month, you can test as early as the 17th day of the month. You can use the FIRST RESPONSE® Early Result Pregnancy Test any time of the day. You do not have to use the first morning urine. Generally, however, your first morning urine contains the highest level of the pregnancy hormone.
Remember when you take it.....you can have a false negative but not a false positive. If it says positive you are pregnant.

A good home pregnancy test can SOMETIMES read the pregnancy hormone up to 4 days before your period is due - but each day closer to your expected period start date increases the hormone and increases the chances of reading it. You can get a test from the pharmacy that has more than one test in it. test today and then test in a few more days....if you see ANY line that indicates pregnancy - no matter how faint- then you are probably pregnant. The tests only look for the pregnancy hormone.... if it detects it then you are....

Take the EPT early test. You take it 5 days before your period, but I would wait closer to the date of your period. It is only 80% accurate if you take it 5 days before. The closer you take it to your period due date the more accurate it will be. I took this test 3 days before missed period after I had a dream my husband and I had another baby I gotta quit having dreams like that!

Yeah, you will get a attempt at any age. I advise legally, youre no longer meant have intercourse decrease than the age of consent the place you reside, yet as quickly as you have intercourse they cant quit you from understanding if youre pregnant or no longer. Its an identical ingredient with condoms, lubricant or the different products like those which could be chanced on on the drugstore. No, it wouldnt truly be awkward. i assume in case you have been nonetheless immature approximately intercourse and nonetheless concept the be conscious "vagina" became humorous, then it may in all probability be awkward, yet for absolutely everyone else it isnt. The cashiers on the shop truthfully dont care what you're paying for, theyre merely doing their activity.

Take it at least 10 days after you think you ovulated. A positive test means something's happening, but a negative test will mean you have to retest in a few days.
