Yarrr, ye be right, ye wanton wench. The ol' Jolly Roger's not to be trifled about with, says I. I'll be keepin' a weather eye out for the land-lubber what offends its honor, and hang him from the yardarm.

The producers of that "Pirates..." movie that is currently playing everywhere in the known universe are probably laughing all the way to the bank with all the profits their making off of side-merch products, such as the t's you mentioned.

Likewise, so are the boards of tourism of all the communities in the Caribbean and along the southeastern US who are also doing a lot of business given the public interest in pirates generated by said movie.

I'm totally with you. When did the Jolly Roger become so popular that sometimes, people associate it with HELLO KITTY? It's so...I can't even find the right words for it. It's just...disgusting I guess.

perhaps they enjoy it that way? As long as someone is happy who are you to call them a poser? Let people live they way they want, it causes no harm to you.
