An article published by the VEA newspaper refers to a meeting of a group on July 22 to plot actions against the Venezuelan government.

Members of the Institutional Military Front, a paramilitary group
and “cronies of the US government” were present.

A Colombian ex paramilitary member who took refuge in
Venezuela, asserted plans were underway to kill National Assembly deputies, and more than 3,000 members of those groups are there to assassinate and destabilize the nation.

Polls show Chavez may win between 55 and 70 percent of votes on December 3 elections.

The US still has plenty of time and money to play games all over the world.

Chavez is the best thig to happen to latin America, a true patriot of Venezeula, if you believe the lies about his "dictatorship" you are fooled by the State Dept. dictatorship.

Write your Congressperson and reveal the plot before we end up attacking Venezuela and making yet another big mistake.

Why is the CIA planning terrorist actions in Venezuela during the Dec. 3 election if the USA is pro-democracy?

Well, that's a two part question.

1. "Why". “Why?” is a very good question. It has been discussed for thousands of years. Socrates asked Plato. Plato asked Homer. Homer asked Jethro. None of them could answer the question “WHY?”.

2. ”Is the CIA planning terrorist actions in Venezuela during the Dec. 3 election?” No, it's planned for Dec. 2. ------- Professor Irwin Corey

What I found surprising is that people -the whole world indeed- still believe that the US is pro-democracy. The US is one of the root causes of the many unrests in Latin America. The current Venezuela government is just trying to demand some respect.

We are not going to attack shithole Venezuela. There's nothing there but oil and a bunch of drooling idiots who voted the mongoloid Chavez into power in the first place. Let them suffer under their new marxist presidente for life. I certainly don't want to expend one penny of the peoples' money or one single drop of American blood over asshats who elect thugs.

Let 'em eat oil and AK-47s.
----------
You talk like a propagandist for the soon to be dictator Sluggo Chavez. Why is he cozying up to Iran and Russia? Why is he planning on buying more weapons from Russia? Nobody is going to attack that pindick. But he certainly is supporting the marxist terrorist revolutionaries that seek to overthrow his neighbors' governments.

No, no sane person will buy into your lies. Choke on your propaganda.

Now this is hilarious and complete BS.

Pro-democracy in Venezuela? It's about as Democratic there as when Saddam Hussein was in power in Iraq. Silence all opposition and be sure to "get rid" of anyone else posing a threat to you. That's Hugo Chavez's M.O.

I doubt the CIA is planning "terrorist" actions as you say but they are probably having discussions with anti-Chavez organizations. It makes no sense for them to plan an attack seeing as how Chavez has an obvious majority vote.

However it is very understanble that the CIA is concerned about having Chavez in power as he is adamantly anti-U.S. Recently, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad presented Chavez with the Islamic Republic Medal, Iran's highest state medal (much like the Medal of Honor is ours), as thanks for Chavez's support for Iran. Chavez supports Iran's uranium enrichment for it's nuclear program. Chavez also supports Iran's aid for Hezbollah in attacking Israel.

Wake up I know it's Monday But what does the CIA do?? They start wars, sell surplus weapons, and kill foreign politicians.

It wouldn't surprise me if the CIA tortured Santa Clause to find out Ben Ladens address.

Scene opens a bloodied Santa is tied to a chair under a bright light.

(Smack) another blow from the shadows. Where did you deliver that train set for Ben Laden?
