yes true! drinking warm stuff makes the blood flow easier! if you have cold drinks your body tends to form blood clots and it can increase your menstruation pains.

I'm well past that now, but I used to get cramps so bad I had to stay in bed first day with heating pad and legs elevated. Drinking hot beverages did help but only short term. Midol helped me a lot.
I don't know if this is any comfort to you or not, but after I had my first child, my cramps got much less severe.

A hot water bottle on the cramping area may help, but I've never heard of drinking hot liquids for easing cramps.

Try drinking chamomile tea or peppermint tea. They help in relaxing cramps at the abdominal area. As to cramps on the other parts of the body, hot-compress helps. Never heard of hot drinks that help.

I heard that Hot tea helps , you will have to go to health food store and ask for the best tea for this. I hope this helps ,good luck , I hate pms lol

well, i drink warm tea when I cramp. also, if its cramps from running or exercising, drinking lukewarm water helps to hydrate your body faster which reduces the cramping.

it really does for some reason the heat from inside you will sooth much like a heating pad would, its the only way i get through a work day on those weeks

it helps...i drink hot tea though. what also works is Midol...it's really great for cramping and bloating...i love it.

it can help soothe them but for me sprite helps don't know why but it does. heating pads help i know that.
