I am 13 and 125 lbs. I am also much taller than all of my friends and look slender and fit. You are healty and fine. Please do not look to magazines for role models. These people are anerexic and completely unhealthy. You are beautiful as you are.

Your mom is right. Taller people have a bigger bone structure. As long as you are active and not a couch potato and maintain a healthy diet, don't worry about how much you weigh!

its good that u play sports. i dint want u to end up like me. I'm 85 lbs 12 and 5'0. if u wanna lose some weight then exercise and eat right. but it does depend how tall u are. since your play sports your muscles are growing. muscle weighs more than fat.

your mum is probably right. you should work out your bmi (body mass index), which is your weight in kg divided by height in metres squared: if your result is between 18 and 25 you're fine. sounds like you have a healthy lifestyle and you're growing fast so don't worry about it.

If you are very active remember muscle weighs more than fat. you should get a body fat ratio evaluation. It only takes a few minutes and they can do it at your local fitness center.
