A virgin is someone who has not had sex. Anal sex is still sex, just like oral sex is still sex. The only difference is that you can't get pregnant with anal or oral sex, and hence the importance of that "virginity" thing. If you are worried about being a virgin for religious reasons, then the answer is that if you have any sort of sex, then you are no longer a virgin.
Be careful though. Anal sex is not like regular sex. The anus was not meant to have things going up into it, just things coming out of it. There is no lubrication, and the skin is delicate and can tear easily. While some people find anal sex pleasurable, don't do it it you do not find it so. Pain is the body's way of saying "Hey, something is wrong!" so avoid pain and bleeding.
If you do engage in anal sex, or any other sexual practice, make sure that either you, or your partner, is protected using either male or female condoms, dental dams, etc. Above all, be careful and have fun.

I have never heard of someone losing their virginity cause of anal sex, I've never tried it either so i don't know. I wouldn't recommend it i think it is unsanitary. Good Luck with it.

if you are a girl and you have anal sex..that means your vagina is still intact and your himen intact too..that makes you a virgin
if you are a guy and you have anal sex with someone....then you are no longer a vrigin...
If you are a guy and you get anal sex..you are a virgin...because your **** didn't get anywhere
with men in general it's more complicated..because technicaly they heve no longer vizibile virginity signs (like the himen at girs) after their first masturbation or bath

sex is sex. Although some people reffer to it as losing your anal virginity....to me sex is sex if it is vaginal, oral or anal.

most people consider being a virgin as not having vaginal penetration...however...look up the actual definition of virgin at wikipedia...if you ask me, sex is sex....so yes, you lose your virginity.
