And why if sunday is the day of rest you have to get up so early to go to church? You'd think you'd get a lie in!

In response to the question below! No I am not an aethiest but I do find all these questions about religion boring. I think there is something and we are all brothers and sisters so why is religion, if misused, so divisive?

Not to mention the fact that probably more than half of all the questions that you get reported for answering, come from disgruntled religious morons who are offended by the slightest infraction if it disagrees with their opinion. I dislike religion and religious people immensely! Lie in all you like man... If I have to be like them to belong to them well... at least Hell is warm! But I honestly have the feeling that God has the utmost patience and is just waiting around listening to all the tools vie and argue and I really do believe that they will all be the ones in the end who had it wrong! Bless God!

Personally I find religious debate facinating. I love to learn about differerent religions. At the moment I want to learn more about Sikhs and Zoroastrians and their viewpoints and beliefs.
I also actively enjoy the philosophy of religion and learing about philosophers. At the moment I am planning to read some Nitche and some more Plato.
I can see how this sort of thing could be seen as boring to some but I also know people who don't find giant robots from the future cool.

Questions and answers about religion can be extremely boring because the questions are asked by boring people. Think about it. If you're a Christian, then every single mystery in the universe is from God. You can't experience any of the magic of the world because it's a sin. You can't do anything fun because it's a sin. You can't even eat to bury your sorrows because it's a sin (gluttony).

Personally, I think everyone should sleep in whenever they want, eat what they want, and do what they want to do. Have fun! I do, but then, that's one of the benefits of being Pagan. LOL!!

For your first question, I don't think q&a's about religion are boring. It just depends on who you are talking to... And the second question. I think the should call sunday the day of worship instead. At least then you know you have to get up early ^^.

Boring all depends on your stand point. I am agnostic, in that I don't have a faith, but am willing to keep an open mind. In that sense I do find some religious questions and answers quite interesting, to see what other people's stand points are.

What I don't agree to though, is other people trying to push their religion on others. If I want to beleive I will.

Because Religion is boring. It's something that is all about rules and regulatons. Right and wrong.. there's nothing about religion besides boringness.. you try to make religion fun.. see what you come up with.. 10 points to the winner.

Discussions/debates about religion can be entertaining and informative.Particularly if both parties can remain objective, with no attempts at conversion. There's a lot to learn.

I think it's fascinating that there are so many brainwashed zealots who claim that unprovable fiction is truth.
