pls help someone know how to block internet site from the computer?

Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools in the menu
Select Internet Options
In the window that appears select the Security tab
Selected on Restricted Sites then click the Sites button
Add the URL (web address) for any site(s) you want to block
Then
Click on the Contents tab
Click the Enable tab
(If you want to further block sites by content you may do so here)
Click on the General Tab
Set up a Supervisor Password (This is will anyone but you from changing the Restricted Sites and content settings. But sure to keep track of the password should you ever need to adjust these setting.)

It is in your security settings in Internet Explorer. Go to TOOLS and the INTERNET OPTIONS and click on the SECURITY tab. Click the icon that says RESTRICTED SITES and then click the button below it that says SITES and then you will be able to add sites that you want to block.

either use the internet optionson your web browser or get net nanny if you are blocking it from kids. Or set up a proxy server if you are feeling esp fancy
