It looks bad for him. He makes that movie, the Passion of the Christ. It goes out of its way to portray the crucifixtion in as horribly way as possible and is suspiciously anti-jewish in its message. It looks like a blood libel but he says he is simply trying to be true to christianity. Millions give him the benefit of the doubt. Now, this comes out.

I mean, the stuff Gibson said wasn't just a stray remark about jews. It was a paranoid rant of the type you hear neo-nazis say. It's the sort of thing you would expect to come out of Louis Farrakhan's mouth (you know, the nation of Islam guy who went of TV to claim that aliens abducted him to clue him in on the sinister plans of the jews....that nutjob)

This put Gibson's movie in a completely different light. It's obvious now that it IS intended as a blood libel. As a christian, that outrages me. How dare he use my religion toward such a sinister end. Just when I think the liberals in this country can't get any lower, something like this happens.

The man is scum.

No. He just misstated what everybody knows and is afraid to say precisely because of that "anti-semite" label. No, the Jews didn't start all the wars now, although they do have a large role in it. Are we really blind to Israeli injustice against Palestine? Why is it we cannot report solid and balanced news on this subject without pleasing the Jewish community in America? It seems that the Jews are impervious to criticism, they can do anything they want to in the world because they enjoy US protection and they can threaten any and all dissenters with an anti-semite label, much like a Damocles' sword hanging over a lot of heads. Well I'm not afraid to state facts. The Jews can send the IDF or even the Mossad to my house, kill everyone in my family and blame my religion for it. I don't care. Mr. Gibson, even in his intoxicated state of mind, said something he believed and saw to be true. It's on the news, it's written in books, it's everywhere. Our eyes are opened, but unfortunately our lips are sealed, or are kept sealed.

No. Unlike a Nazi, Mr. Gibson has hidden his disdain for Jews under the veil of art and tolerance (as well as economic reasons) The Nazis openly pronounced their dispicable intention, Gibson hides his.

No, no, no, he just is saying what everyone is thinking! If he was a "Nazi" he wouldn't of wasted his time making a movie about a Jewish man being crucified, and then to carry on to make another movie about some Native Indians of Mexico. The jewish community just goes to far, I mean; it's ok to portray Black, Hispanic and White people as murderers and criminals but it someone dares to say a remark about the jews then; look out!!! Waaaa!!!!

Yes, he is. He may have been drunk, but that is when you usually say what you really think and feel.
