It's a Yamaha xs750, 1977. I need either some kind of re-apolstry kit or a seat, but I don't want to pay much. Oh, and please don't tell me to google it, I have searched already.

I might have a nice used seat out in the barn that might fit your bike.I will have to wait and ask my hubby tonight, I will give him the info you posted about your bike.
There is a Yamaha "Midnight Special" out there in parts and pieces.

If you think it might work , you can always contact me through answers so I can give him more info if needed.
I am sure he will sell it reasonably ( you would have to pay to ship it or pick it up)

My stepdad is a motorcycle enthusiast. He has restored about a dozen so far, and he gets most of his parts from ebay.

Go to a motorcycle junk yard. You can find one near you in the yellow pages.

Ebay is your best bet.

Also try: Overstock.com, uBid.com, auctions.yahoo.com, webidz.com, auctionfire.com or just google auction sites.

Also, check out motorcycle trader magazines, parts stores or your local motorcycle shop.

I would just take the old seat and have the pattern redone.
